Umbilical Brothers

On the 12th of this month I went and saw my favourite comedians, The Umbilical Brothers. The show was KiDSHoW (Not Suitable for Children). Here two videos that pretty much explains it is not suitable for kids and they are just funny.

Anyway I have been a fan of them since the Upside Down show coming out and I was only 9. I may or may not have downloaded most of the episodes yesterday whoops, oh well, and then buying their complete box set of the shows they have done.

Which include (plus a clip from each one :) )
Speedmouse

Don't Explain

Heaven By Storm

Yes they are from Australia which is a plus and they are hilarious and funny, seriously mime and sound together brilliant. The only downside is that they need to put more shows on in Melbourne a part from the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, which is where I saw them. I love how they can cater to both the young and old no matter what.

So yes as I said, I went and saw them and may I say, AMAZING, HILARIOUS, BRILLIANT, OMG! It is like a kid show for the adults or a kid show gone wrong.

Here is a clip of them singing which was featured in the show but in the show it was longer and way better but still whatever they do it is still amazing.

(Sorry had to download the video and then upload it)

Anyway before even seeing the show I met and got a photo with 1/2 of the group.
So freaking happy with David
Yep do you see that, DAVID!!! I was literally eating dinner and mum saw him and just went up and got him to come and get a photo with me. As you can see from my face, this literally made my night and my life. I just wish I got to meet Shane oh well, when they come back to Melbourne or if I see either one of them around, so going up and getting a photo with them. But it felt pretty surreal as he came up to me arms open, hugged me and I touched him. Oh god fangirl moment right there. Soznotsoz.

After seeing the show, I am in the post show depression, I have watched all the shows about 3 times now since seeing them live, all of their YouTube videos and as I said, downloaded most of the episodes of the Upside Down Show, do no regret. Seeing them live was amazing and so much better then on a TV or computer screen. But definitely going to see them again whenever they come back to Melbourne or anywhere in Victoria close to me and hopefully will have money to buy tickets. I would seriously love to see one of their shows that is on DVD live. OMG that was amazing.

So yes I went and saw them LIVE, have all their DVD's, downloaded the KIDS SHOW they made, and have met ONE of them. I will always be a fan of theirs no matter what. Just I need to get a photo with Shane and then one together and then they can retire.

It is also amazing from just their YouTube videos, they have gone to many different countries with their shows but I just wish they would stay here with a tour.

I am not being asked to do this by anyone, just myself doing it for my own pleasure and hopefully you will love them and enjoy their fine work as much as I do. Plus come on if you have not heard of them, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?
Go like their Facebook page and subscribe to their YouTube channel. You will not be disappointed.

So I leave you with one more video of there song, Don't Dance To This, it will be stuck in your mind I bet you anything.

Sorry for that random post but COME ON, I needed to. I know there wasn't a Top 10 on Friday as I just had so much homework to do, but I hope this will make it up for missing one Friday. Easter is today so... CHOCOLATE! But school on Tuesday which is crap though only a 3 day week as ANZAC Day is on Friday.

I hope you liked the many videos I showed you, may I add I do not own any of these and all copyright goes to The Umbilical Brothers.

Anyway I hope you are having a good Easter weekend.

Top 10 || Bands/Groups

It's Friday, Friday gotta get down on Friday! So glad I am on holidays but they are going so quickly. But so excited for tomorrow, I get to go and see The Umbilical Brothers.

Anyway on with Top 10, today it is Bands/Groups (no particular order).

***

1. Arctic Monkeys- I only started listening to them in February, if you saw my favourites post from there you will know, and it was the best decision I have ever done. They are amazing, I knew about them but never really listened to them until now and OMG, AM the best album ever and starting to love some of their old stuff as well. As well as Alex Turner being *swoons* perfect, especially with the greaser hair and his voice which is so deep. His voice doesn't really fit his appearance but I am totally cool with that. Also may I add BRITISH.

2. Bastille- First off, Pomepii started to play as I started to write this, but yeah first song I heard of them and fell in love. Of the Night and then Flaws, both perfect as well. The lead singers voice, Dan Smith is also perfect on the eye and voice. Also BRITISH.

3. Beecake- My friend Bree (check out her YouTube, and then tell her to make more videos ;)) pretty much introduced me to this amazing soothing band. There is so much emotion and just very calming. Also freaking Billy Boyd is the lead singer, BILLY BOYD aka PIPPIN, LORD OF THE RINGS, yeah so that is a plus and he is such a cutie. If you like LOTR, you definitely should listen to them if you haven't/don't like LOTR, still listening to them. Also they are from Scotland, that is near ENGLAND.

4. FUN- So I share the same birthday as Nate Ruess, but that is not why I love the band, I love them for there very catchy songs and the freaking high notes he can get to like woah. Plus birthday buddies.

5. Little Mix- We have to have some girl power in here. But yeah I don't really like most girl groups but Little Mix is amazing. Their different tones of voice just make the group perfect. Plus Perrie and Zayn are so cute together. Also BRITISH.

6. One Direction- Of course they would make this list. This is probably my very fangirl moment since Jonas Brothers, just OMG. They are amazing, I know some people don't like them and think they are pussys but seriously being put together on a TV show, their voices just fit perfectly together. And well it's a bonus that they are cute and hot and can sing. As well as being to a concert of theirs with Shaylene, I was a total fangirl, screaming, singing, dancing, nearly crying, everyone has to have those moments and cannot wait until they come to Australia so I can go again as it was the best ever. Also you know what I am going to say, BRITISH.

7. Panic! At The Disco- There old stuff and new stuff, no matter they are always  favs to listen to. Brendan Urie just makes it that much better. Also have you seen his Vines, you all should.

8. Queen- So retro stuff had to make it, oh Freddie Mercury, his voice is perfect and so glad they didn't replace him when he passed away. Their songs are classics today and when contrasting with today's music, is just amazing to see the difference. But this band will never be "old", it will always be one of my favs even though I wasn't born when they were playing. I wouldn't of mind going to a concert of theirs. Plus BRITISH.

The big hair, classic
9. Savage Garden- Got to have some Aussie's in here and Savage Garden is that. They are such a classic and songs that you can belt out not matter what. Their songs are another that will never get old, I will forget I have their music on my iPod and then listen to them again and still remember every word. That is what I love about them. Also Darren Hayes and the other guy who no one knows his name is married to Kathleen from the original Hi-5, duh.

10. The Vamps- I only started to listen to them this year with their song Can We Dance? which is freaking catchy. Then bloody Last Night and Wild Heart had to come along didn't they, both so catchy. They are cute, can play instruments, started on YouTube and can sing what can you not love about them. Also...BRITISH.

***

We have come to the end again :( Did you see the pattern, yeah 75% of them were from England, what can I say, I am obsessed with England. I am totally fine with that though.
Again there most likely will be more added, so it shall be updated then.

Comment below what bands you are loving at the moment.

Monthly Favourites || March

We have to come time of the month again, MONTHLY FAVOURITES, if you were thinking of the other thing, tsk tsk get your mind out of the gutter. But yes March has gone by and we are now into April, and I am on holidays!

FAVOURITE MOMENTS

I am never going to have just one, knowing me.

-My birthday party, I still can;t believe I am 17, I keep thinking I am 16. But at the start of the month I had an awesome party. All my friends, some family, dancing, food LOTS OF FOOD, and just having everyone there was nice.
The gang

Now facing the sun

-Now the day after my birthday party was the Color Run, that is why my Aunty and my cousin Jacalyn were down. If you are wondering what the hell is the Color Run, you either can walk or run a 5km track and be thrown colour every kilometer. It was a fun day, it is called 'the happiest 5k on the planet'. I did it th year before and it was just fun to know that you are doing exercise for a good cause.
Colour party

Aftermath, it was everywhere

-Spending time with Shaylene, is like we have never been separated at all and can sit in silence and still enjoy each others company. If you want to see what we got up that weekend, click HERE and see the magic.

-Another experience with Shaylene again, was going to the footy (AFL, Australian Football League, Aussie Rules). Essendon versus Hawthorn. Though... HAWTHORN WON BY 4 POINTS OMG!!! WOOOOO!!!  It was literally a freaking close game in the second half, literally a on the edge of your seat experience. It was pretty intense but it was fun going with a friend who actually likes footy and knows what is happening except she goes for the wrong team.
You can totally tell who was the happy chap here.

FAVOURITE YOUTUBE VIDEOS

-Danisnotonfire always makes me smile no matter what, I really love his videos especially this one made me smile in March. Get Ready with Dan <-----CLICK IT NOW!
-The first Youtube boyband video was hilarious and this one was even better with a new member. The Official YouTube Boyband <-----CLICKEY CLICK
-But it even got more better and way hotter when they released a freaking music video, they literally sung and it was not that bad, plus Marcus rapping again HELL YES! Plus it was all for a good cause being Sports Relief. The YouTube Boy Band-it's all about you(tube) <----CLICK IT NOW
-Lastly a Marcus Butler video with Zoe, which is always funny but this one was hilarious. I was laughing so much, just Marcus' hair, that is all. Male Pampering Session with Zoella <-----YEP CLICK IT

FAVOURITE SONGS

I have a few this month as usual.
-As I said last month, Arctic Monkeys made it again. But I did get the album from my friend Tiana and just EVERY SONG IS AMAZING but in March it will have to be Arabella (Warning video is a bit explicit but the song is amazing)
-Can't Rely On You - Paloma Faith. I have been obsessed with this song in March, it is so catchy and I think I know why because of it being written and produced by Pharrell.
-Naive-The Kooks Was a song that was on a mixed CD that my friend's Max and Sarah made for me and OMG I remember this song from when it first came out and it was so weird still knowing the words.
-She Looks so Perfect-5SOS Know when I first heard this song, I literally thought it was by Fall Out Boy, do not ask me why I thought that but when I saw it was by 5SOS I was cool with this. They were amazing when I saw them live when they opened for 1D and this song is so catchy, why couldn't you love it.
-Flaws-Bastille I actually heard this on one of the music channels on TV and fell in love with it. It did take me a while to find it but I did and love it. I really do love Bastille, they are pretty rad (did I just type that, yes I did)
-Last Night-The Vamps Again found it on a music channel but then found out it wasn't out yet and then one day it magically downloaded and I was a happy Kadek. Love this song and love them too, they are cute, British and can sing :)
-Replay-Zendaya Last one for March, this song is so catchy and the music video just makes you want to get up and dance like her. So my friend April and I are going to do a dance for a Themestock (fundraiser for the Performing Arts).

FAVOURITES PHOTOS

-Now this made me scream and fangirl let me show you the photo first
Dan Howell and John Barrowman
IT IS FREAKING CAPTAIN JACK HARKNESS AND DANISNOTONFIRE!!!! *dead*...*back alive* I am a huge Doctor Who fan and this just made me very very VERY happy. Dan's facial expression would literally be mine as well, just look at it, "OMFG IT IS CAPTAIN JACK HARKNESS" Is probably what is going through his mind. And apparently he was dressed a a flight attendant, why was I not on that flight.

-Next one was from Art Camp and was taken by my friend Shaun.

Can you see me?
A reenactment of the Oscar selfie but art camp style, hell yeah. Art Camp is always fun, but this year was the best and last and these people are the best to spend it with. There were many more people, but these are the main peeps.

I really need more column things but you get the jist of my favs. Hopefully this month I will have some beauty and fashion stuff in there as well, as you know H&M opened in Melbourne and I brought some new beauty products.

March was a busyish month but April is going to be fun and chocolatey, because of school holidays and EASTER!

Top 10 || Singers

Again I am late like 3 days late, sorry. Was again at the football but HAWTHORN WON!!!! Okay thank god I am on school holidays but have so much homework, SO MUCH! I really need to write these early or something, anyway another installment of Top 10, a day late.

Today you shall see my Top 10 of singers, artists, one person singing by themselves, you get the deal.
Let's do this! again in no particular order a part from Demi being number 1 but then on all the rest in no particular order

***

1. Demi Lovato- What can I say about her, she is amazing. From what she has gone through it is amazing where she is today. I loved her ever since I saw her in Camp Rock, I love her acting and her music. I really wish she will come to Australia to tour, I will so be there. A part from being an amazing singer, she is also my role model, and fashion icon. She is so gorgeous and beautiful. I seriously would change my hair colour like her, though I don't think it would look good on me, any colour fits Demi.
Can I be you?
2. Kyile Minogue-The first concert I ever went to was hers with my Godfather and it was a memory that I won't forget. She is amazing singer and love all her songs, they are always catchy.

3. Katy Perry-Katy has those songs that will always get stuck in your head no matter what. Luckily I am going to her concert in December with Shaylene and even though I am not the hugest fan, I feel like it will be a fun and hyper concert.

4.Ed Sheeran-His songs have so much meaning behind it and are just so soothing and calming. He has such a soft and calm voice that I could easily just fall to asleep to. As well as, he is the cutest ginger british guy.

5. Robbie Williams- So watching old videos, I saw one year I got a single of Robbie Williams, so I have been a fan for a while. But I do love his song Angels which was played at my grandmother's funeral, so it has a special place in my heart.

6. P!NK-Again another person's concert I have been to and it was more like a show than a concert. She always has those songs you want to get up and dance to and sing her heart out.

7. Lana Del Ray- I only really liked Lana after literally listening to her album, Dark Paradise, on repeat when staying at a friends house last year, all night. And I mean ALL NIGHT, whenever I was a bit awake it was playing. So of course it got stuck in my head, so I brought the album and love it still.

8. Miley Cyrus-I have loved her since Hannah Montana and I still have respect for her eve though I am sick of the twerking, tongue and how she acts but she is growing up and maturing. No matter what, she will never be Hannah Montana, she is who she is. To be honest, I do love some of her new material, just the music videos aren't the best. I am really interested on where she will be in the next 5 years, but she has to remember she is a role model to some young kids still.

9. Olly Murs-I love some of his songs. They are too catchy that it literally get stuck in my head so i have to buy them on iTunes. He seems so down to earth especially when he was in Australia last year and he spent time talking to fans, now that definitely is a way to make it into my Top 10.

10. Taylor Henderson- I have been a fan of him since Australia's Got Talent and through his experience on the X Factor. He has such an amazing voice and I can see him going high. Seriously though he is cute as well.

***
And there we go, the Top 10 singers, more than likely there will be more later on, and then I shall update it but for now here is the list.

Sorry again for it being 3 days late.
So comment what singer you are loving at the moment.
