Japan Trip 2013 Part 3

Disclaimer: I am not bragging at all, this was a once in a lifetime opportunity and as I was in year 11 at the time, I had no other chance to go on an experience like this. This will be split into parts so they aren't as long so I hope you don't mind and hopefully I give you ideas on where to go in Japan if you are planning to go one day. Also some photos are taken on my iPod and some on my camera which is a Canon 600D SLR as well as other people from the trip's. Enjoy :)

This is Part 3, if you want to read Part 1 or Part 2 click on them and you will be flown there ;)

Sorry this is a bit delayed been very busy.
Now let's continue with when I spent the whole day with my host family.

Day 8:
Started to day off with breakfast, the usual and then it was time for the day with the host family. I also forgot to put in the last post but also did scrapbooking that night and listened to One Direction and Backstreet Boys, good ol' Backstreet Boys. Before we left we took some photos in front of the house.
Tahira and myself

The girls
We then headed off in the car for about a half hour drive or something like that to Togendai where there was a chair lift to go on the Hakone Ropeway to look at the natural hot springs and Mt Fuji.
The whole family

On the cable cart
There were such amazing photos of the view but I kept getting my reflection in the window. We finally got to the last stop on the cable cart.

We then climbed a lot of stairs, I kinda wished I wore shorts that day. I just notice I am wearing the shirt I am wearing right now haha, anyway, we then tried these black eggs which taste like normal eggs but apparently they extend your life span 7 years. I don't know if it is true but oh well. We then took some amazing photos of the view of Mt Fuji. I still couldn't believe I was there in Japan.

We drove a bit closer to another point a bit nearer to Mt Fuji and a view of Susono.
OMG MT FUJI

Totally the tourist there

Susono and Mt Fuji
It was such a gorgeous view of Mt Fuji and the whole of Susono. Such a tourist taking photos.
We then went off to the shopping mall, which was all outside but had mostly the same shops we have. I didn't buy anything though but it was nice to see what they had. We had lunch which was ramen and it was delicious.

It was also a very humid, and hot day so I was so glad to go back to the house in the end. We were planning to go to another person's house for dinner where two of my friends were staying but that didn't happen. We instead went to a sushi train place. When we got there it was packed, we had to wait until a table was free. Finally one was free and we went and sat down. There was a screen showing what you order which was very nice. We got cheesy fries which OMG best thing I have ever eaten ever. Why don't we have them in Australia. Anyway, so much food later from sushi, salmon, tuna, octopus, etc. And then ended it with ice cream, such a fatty here.

We then returned home where I had a shower and then went downstairs where they gave me presents. They gave me these hair holders, which were so pretty and then the scrapbooking stuff they made. With photos that they took and memories from that day. It was so nice, I couldn't believe it was my last night, I was going to miss them even though I got homesick.

Day 9
Up pretty early, luckily packed last night, it was good to have the presents out of my suitcase but it was still broken and pretty heavy. We had to go to Bunka Centre for an International Festival. We were the first ones there so we waited until some other people started to turn up.

We then had to go rehearse Possum Magic again as we were going to perform it at the festival. It was good to see everyone, with like not seeing them for a day. I then heard the good news from my teacher about the footy. HAWTHORN FREAKING WON AGAINST GEELONG, as I said we haven't won against them since 2008 and we beat them by 5 points and we were into the Grand Final.

Anyway onto the day. We saw Sam with a $5 shirt on, but he was still good looking. We then saw them reveal a sign by Frankston and then we had to perform. It was alright and then we got time to look around.

After a bit it was time to say goodbye.

I am gonna miss them
We then hopped on the bus where literally everyone was crying.
Many tears apart from John who just smiles and waves
We then were off to catch the shinkansen and to Osaka.
We arrived and went straight to the hotel where we got our rooms and they were pretty decent. We then went off to Namba where we did karoke.
The group
It took us about 10 minutes to figure how to use it but luckily we got there in the end. I didn't sing, I was the photographer for that night, We then went off to get food, we had to meet at this huge crab when we had to meet.

Well I had Starbucks and you guessed I had Green Tea Frap. I so missed it.
The best
We also had McDonalds for dinner. It was then time to head back to the hotel and go to bed as we were going to another school, our Skype school for the day the next day.

Well that is the end of Part 3, Part 4 will hopefully up next month.
I hope you are all well

Catch you on the flip side
