Japan Trip 2013 Part 5 LAST ONE

Disclaimer: I am not bragging at all, this was a once in a lifetime opportunity and as I was in year 11 at the time, I had no other chance to go on an experience like this. This will be split into parts so they aren't as long so I hope you don't mind and hopefully I give you ideas on where to go in Japan if you are planning to go one day. Also some photos are taken on my iPod and some on my camera which is a Canon 600D SLR as well as other people from the trip's. Enjoy :)

This is Part 5, if you want to know what I did before this check out Part 1Part 2Part 3 & Part 4 and you shall be flown there ;)

Here we go the last installment.

Day 13

This day had to come, as it was the day we went to Hiroshima. We caught a bullet train to Hiroshima and saw the A-Bomb Dome. Just unbelievable, it did take a bit to let it sink in. We took a photo in front but we all didn't know if we should smile or not so it was an awkward photo, which I ain't putting in here. We had a look around and listened to a guy talk but we said we had to go as it started to get a bit weird. We also saw an opera singer across the river which lightened the mood a bit even though we had no idea what she was saying.

See even a piano
We then went to lay the 1000 cranes at the peace park.

The gang and the 1000 cranes
After we went off to the museum, it was an interesting experience, but there was graphic images and I couldn't make it through the museum. It is pretty confronting but still interesting.

Everyone was pretty upset and solemn but John can always make everyone happy. He literally pretended to be a tree.

See he always makes everyone smile.

We then went off to a ferry to Meiyajima Island to explore.

When we got there, we got to go off and explore. First off we went to go and get ice cream. I had a green tea ice cream, I think. We then got some friends, being wild deer. One of them stole Ebony's ice cream.

A little baby deer
We continued exploring, having a look at the shrine in the sea, the beach and just explored the island. It was so beautiful, I seriously wish I could live there. Josh and I both decided to buy that island put Namba, our favourite place in Osaka and then have a road back home to Melbourne.

We all got bored after like 3 hours and went back to Hiroshima for dinner to have what Hiroshima are known for. Okonomiyaki, yummy! It was amazing seeing so many places that made it. We found a place that didn't have many people. It was awesome seeing them make it in front of you. I had the basic one and it was the most amazing and delicious Okonomiyaki ever!

We headed back to the hotel in Osaka ready for our last day in Japan and Universal Studio. We all packed ready for an early start.

Day 14 (Last full day):

Waking up to know it was our last day was pretty sad, I was sad that we weren't going to be in Japan anymore or spending time with the gang that were like a family, seriously you become a family when you are in a different country who are going through the same experience as yourself.

We had breakfast then finished packing and went down to the lobby to store our luggage so we could go to Universal Studio instead of taking our suitcases.

We headed off to Universal Studio and spent the whole day there.

First off we went on Hollywood Dream roller coaster which was a long wait but it was amazing ride.

Waiting in line
After we went off to have lunch at this 50's diner which was so cute and friendly and amazing food. We then went on the Back to Future ride where they spoke on Japanese so we had no idea what they were saying but it was pretty awesome. Next was the Jurassic Ride which was really fun and we were going to go on the Jaws ride but it was literally an hour wait. So we watched the parade as it was near Halloween, everything was Halloween, the music and the parade. Plus the decorations. Next we went shopping and I bought so much but I loved it.

It came to the end of the day we had to leave. I wish we had another day there so we could explore more but it was still fun the only day we went.

The gang
We went back to the hotel to get our bags and then we were off to the airport to head home.

Day 15:

We were of the plane all night and had a stop over in Singapore again. I had a green tea frapp again before hopping back onto the plane to go back home.

The best part of getting home was finding out that HAWTHORN WON THE GRAND FINAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Best way to end an amazing experience and trip to Japan that I would not forget. As well as the people I met, making new friends and becoming closer to friends.

Also this is the last of boys myself and Josh saw mostly all westerners but they were freaking cute and I mean we could bang them.

So I hope you enjoyed this, I am going to miss writing this. Also if you have any suggestions on what kind of blog posts to write please share.
